High resistance against wind!

Applicable for all horizontal glazing or asymmetric systems: e.g. barrel vaults, skylights or winter gardens. Both top-down and bottom-up, for indoor and outdoor applications.

The TOP FIX ® ensures wind resistance up to 120 km/h in closed position in cases where  installation has been carried out as instructed!

Depending on type and box size, wind resistance classes between 5 and 6 are reached and guaranteed.

Both the TOPFIX and the FIX SCREEN ® correspond to the European standard EN13561. Rattling and torn screens are long gone. Wind tunnel tests on the "Karman Institute for fluid dynamics" (Test report No. EAR0410) provided the proof of immaculate use during wind influence.

Function

The TOPFIX ® is a wind-resistant textile sunscreen for asymmetric systems. Zenithal solar shading uses  a revolutionary new technology: a combination of the well-known FIXSCREEN® technology and a DYNEEMA® tension system. The result is exceptional fabric tension. Flapping and ruptured fabrics are a thing of the past. The compact casing and large color selection for screens and profiles fit perfectly within every design.

The zenithal solar shading prevents overheating in light panels, skylights and small winter gardens. Complete blackout is possible by means of blackout fabrics independent of whether they are used inside or outside.

Light control

The FIX SCREEN ® and TOP FIX ® shield off the sun's rays before they come into contact with the glass surfaces. Glare and unpleasant reflections are eliminated. Nonetheless you do not lose visual contact with the environment – the important view to the outside remains. Different values on the light transmission are possible according to the type of chosen cloth. 

Heat and energy control

The special design protects against sun and realizes an optimum indoor climate. External sun protection systems such as external Venetian blinds and screens work against overheating. Unwanted heat does not enter. That’s why considerable savings in cooling and air conditioning are possible. In winter, they let in the free solar heat and at night the lowered solar shading can limit heat loss. Different values on the thermal insulation are possible according to the type of chosen cloth.

Insect protection

FIX SCREEN ® and TOP FIX ® allow intensive natural ventilation including insect repellent. No opening remains free between leaders and screen hanging. End cap with sealing lip ensures a perfect connection to the window sill.

Quiet and easy operation

We guarantee a case profile without any clattering noise. Both manual and motorized operation are possible.

Easy maintenance and simple installation

TOP FIX ® requires little maintenance and is mounted directly on the window frame or lateral in the reveal. The installation can also be realized on the window frame using mounting brackets instead of a cassette.
